The milk teeth line and the following mixed teeth line develop during the most active period of the child's growth. The first milk tooth begins to erupt in the 6th month. Different groups of milk teeth fall out from time to time and are replaced by permanent milk teeth. This condition lasts until the age of 12. In this process, early loss of milk teeth can affect jaw development and lead to aesthetic and speech disorders. All treatments applied to permanent teeth can also be applied to primary teeth.

In addition, the skeletal jaw development of the child should be kept under control by an orthodontist.
